Heather Mitchell

Heather Mitchell has extensive experience in conservation and planning, currently serving as Principal PA to the Head of the Global Land Department within the Global Conservation Directorate at RSPB since February 2000. Prior roles at RSPB include Public Relations Project Manager and Planning Policy Officer. Heather began the career at Hertfordshire Constabulary as a Performance Monitoring & Research Officer, followed by a position as Planning Technician at Luton Borough Council. Earlier experience includes market research at Canal & River Trust. Heather holds a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from Oxford Brookes University and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Conservation & Recreation Management from the University of Hertfordshire.
