Heidi S.

Heidi S. is an experienced sustainability and environmental management professional with a strong background in leading initiatives across various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Sustainable Practice at RSPB since May 2022, Heidi develops and oversees programmes aligned with the organization's climate and sustainability goals. With previous roles including Head of Environmental Management for multiple public, private, and international entities, and Head of Sustainability and Wellbeing at Swansea University, Heidi has successfully spearheaded diverse projects, such as implementing the first carbon budget for a UK local authority and significantly improving Swansea University's rankings in the Guardian's 'Green League.' Academic credentials include a PhD in Applied Hydroecology/crenobiology from The University of Huddersfield, an MSc in Land Resource Management from Cranfield University, and a BSc in Environmental Studies from the University of Derby.
