Mark Ward

Mark Ward serves as the Head of Supporter Experience at RSPB since June 2005, where responsibilities include enhancing the supporter experience through the application of the organization's Supporter Principles. Mark has held roles such as Editor-in-Chief of Nature's Home magazine, overseeing one of the largest circulation magazines in the UK, and Editor of the previous title, Birds. Additionally, Mark has extensive freelance writing experience, contributing to various environmental publications, authoring several books on natural history, and serving as a judge for the British Wildlife Photography Awards. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and diplomas in Environmental Policy and Natural Sciences from The Open University, along with a National Diploma in Wildlife and Countryside Management from Cambridgeshire College of Agriculture and Horticulture.
