Oliver Yates

Oliver Yates is the Head of BirdLife International Marine Programme at RSPB, where they focus on marine conservation and the reduction of fishing impacts on marine fauna. With past experience as a Seabird Observer for the Falkland Islands Fishery Department and coordination roles in various marine conservation programs, they have developed expertise in fishery management and mitigation strategies. Oliver holds a Master of Science in Geographical Information Systems from the University of Southampton, as well as a BSc in Marine & Fisheries Biology from the University of Aberdeen.
