Pat Thompson has extensive experience with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), currently serving as the Senior Uplands Policy Officer since January 2006. In this role, Pat focuses on the importance of UK uplands, which serve as crucial habitats for wildlife, sources of drinking water, carbon stores, and recreational spaces. Prior to this position, Pat was the Regional Public Affairs Manager at RSPB from August 2001 to September 2005, and worked as a Conservation Officer in Caithness and Sutherland from March 1995 until August 2001.
