David Bowles

David Bowles is currently the Head of Public Affairs at RSPCA, a role they have held since 2012, where they manage campaigns and political initiatives across Europe, Westminster, and England. They also served as Director of Communications at RSPCA, focusing on strategy and collaboration with third sector and corporate organizations to enhance animal welfare. Additionally, David has been a Board Member at the Association of Dog and Cat Homes since 2015 and acts as a mentor with CharityComms, sharing knowledge with fellow charity communications professionals. David's early career included a position as a researcher and investigator with the Environmental Investigation Agency from 1991 to 1995, and they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Durham University.
