Steve Fairman

Steve Fairman currently serves as the Head of Internal Communications and Engagement at RSPCA since September 2025. Previously, Steve was the Global Head of Internal Communications at Save the Children International from June 2023 to August 2025 and held the position of Head of Internal Communications and Engagement at the Food Standards Agency from July 2019 to June 2023. Other roles include Head of Internal Communications at the Environment Agency, Senior Manager of Internal Communications at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and Internal Communications Manager at Bristol City Council, among others. With a strong background in communications strategy, engagement, and change management, Steve has a proven track record of advising senior leaders, creating impactful campaigns, and fostering two-way communication within large organizations. Steve holds an MA in Publishing from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Leicester.
