Andy Roberts

Andy Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andy currently serves as the Director of RF Engineering at Waveform.com/RSRF, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, Andy worked as an RF Engineer at Longent from April 2015 onwards.

Before joining Longent, Andy was an Electrical Engineer at Ultra Electronics - 3Phoenix, Inc. from February 2014 to February 2015. In this role, they made significant contributions to the MK710 torpedo test set, including spec'ing parts, creating schematics, designing cables, coordinating with vendors, and presenting at CDR. Andy gained expertise in Altium Designer and MIL-spec connectors during this time.

Andy began their career as a Student at North Carolina State University, where they studied from June 2009 to December 2013. Andy also completed an Electrical Engineering Co-op at Longent from August 2011 to December 2011.

In addition to their engineering roles, Andy has experience as a Sales Professional at Wine Warehouse from January 2008 to June 2009, and as an Air Traffic Controller at the FAA from May 2007 to November 2007. Andy'swell-rounded background showcases a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and customer service skills.

Andy Roberts earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Andy attended this institution from 1998 to 2002. Following this, from 2009 to 2013, they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering at North Carolina State University. Andy'sspecialization within this field was Digital Signals Processing (DSP).
