Anup Chalisey

Anup Chalisey is a seasoned infrastructure professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. As the Professional Head of Infrastructure at RSSB, Anup led the Infrastructure team and chaired the Infrastructure Standards Committee, focusing on cross-industry standards for track, gauging, stations, and structures. Previously, Anup served as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer in research and development, delivering technical input to infrastructure standards and innovation in Great Britain and Europe. Anup also held the position of Director at Heathland Whitefriars Federation, leading strategic improvements for the organization. Earlier roles at Transport for London included Senior Engineer for Wheel Rail Interface initiatives, as well as various engineering positions encompassing track design and technical support. Anup holds a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Aston University.
