Bing Yan currently serves as the Lead System Safety Engineer at RSSB since July 2023. Prior to this role, Bing was the Project Safety Business Partner at West Midlands Trains from March 2020 to August 2023. Earlier experience includes positions at AEGIS Rail as an Associate Mechanical Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, and Project Engineer from October 2015 to May 2016. Bing Yan holds a PGCert in Manufacturing System Engineering from the University of Warwick (2007-2008) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering with Automotive from the University of Birmingham (2004-2007).
