Marcus Dacre is currently the Head of Risk and Safety Intelligence at RSSB, a position held since 2017. Previously, Marcus managed the Safety Risk Assessment team at RSSB and was a Senior Safety Intelligence Analyst, contributing significantly to the GB rail industry. Earlier in their career, they served as a Policy & Quality Standards lead at the Office for National Statistics. Marcus holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, an MSc in Operational Research with Distinction from Lancaster University, and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
