Mike Briggs

Mike Briggs is an accomplished AI leader with a PhD in Space Instrumentation from The University of Edinburgh. Currently, they serve as the Director of Data Science & AI at RSSB, where they lead the adoption of AI to enhance decision-making in the rail industry. Previously, they worked as a Principal Consultant at PA Consulting, driving digital transformation initiatives, and contributed to the alignment and verification of the James Webb Space Telescope while at the Royal Observatory Edinburgh. Mike holds a degree in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Leicester.
