Tom Hyatt currently serves as the Lead Human Factors Specialist at RSSB, focusing on the Rail Investigation Group and the Train Accident Risk Group since September 2022. Prior experience includes notable roles as a Senior Human Factors Specialist at RSSB and holding various signaller positions at Network Rail. Tom Hyatt's career also includes a tenure as a Human Factors Engineer at Mott MacDonald, contributing to Crossrail, and as a Human Factors Researcher at TRL involved in connected autonomous vehicles. Tom Hyatt holds an MSc in Safety and Human Factors in Aviation from Cranfield University and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of the West of England.
