Xiaocheng Ge

Xiaocheng Ge is a seasoned professional in risk and safety intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Risk and Safety Intelligence Analyst at RSSB since April 2021. Prior to this role, Xiaocheng held a position at the University of Huddersfield in the Institute of Railway Research from January 2016 to April 2021. Xiaocheng's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of York, obtained between 2002 and 2007, as well as a BEng in Electronic Engineering from BeiJing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics, completed from 1992 to 1996. Before pursuing a career in the railway sector, Xiaocheng worked as a Research Associate at the University of York from January 2004 to December 2015.
