Bryan Dougherty

Bryan Dougherty has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Bryan began their career as a Fitness Instructor at Chamisal Tennis Club, where they instructed club members on using free weights and "Strive Circuit Training," spotted workout enthusiasts with heavy lifting, and managed workout equipment. In 2012, they held two positions, first as an Assistant Front Office Manager at Joie de Vivre Hotels - Two Roads Hospitality, where they led a team of front desk agents to elevate levels of customer service, encouraged teamwork to run operations more efficiently, and worked with the local community to promote and increase revenue for the hotel/restaurant and boost tourism economics for Laguna Beach. Bryan also worked as a Disaster Training Intern at the American Red Cross - San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter, where they administered grant funds, purchases, and check requests with their largest submission resulting in a $60,000 grant proposal, managed the Disaster Training Program, student enrollment, and training certifications, and coordinated Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activities. Bryan then went on to work as a Customer Relations Coordinator at Tustin Toyota from 2016 to 2019, and currently holds the role of Project Manager at RSVC Company since 2022.

Bryan Dougherty obtained their high school diploma from Salinas High School in 2005. Bryan then attended Monterey Peninsula College, where they earned an AA degree in General Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration in 2007. Bryan continued their education at San Diego State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration in 2012. In 2013, they obtained a certification in Emergency Management - Hazardous Materials from FEMA.
