John O'Marra

John O'Marra is an experienced insurance professional currently serving as President of RT New York at RT Specialty since May 2011, along with the roles of Executive Vice President - Property and E&S Property Broker. Prior to this, John held the position of Vice President - Property Broker at Mercator Risk Services from March 2006 to May 2011, where responsibilities included negotiating and placing various property insurance programs and managing underwriting authority. John's career began at Marsh, where contributions were made in Global Broking Property from 2001 to 2005. John earned a BA in History from Loyola University Maryland between 1999 and 2003.
