Luis Castro

Luis Castro is an accomplished presenter and producer with extensive experience in the television industry. Currently serving as the presenter and producer of "Cartas sobre la Mesa" at RT since March 2017, Luis specializes in producing and hosting a TV debate series focused on current affairs in Latin America. Luis has also held the position of Director and TV Producer at Venispa since January 2012, where more than 30 documentaries and 35 TV programs were produced in various countries worldwide. Notable projects include the creation of the football series "Fuera del Área," which has gained traction among sport broadcasters, and a docu-reality format titled "IRL," focusing on eSports personalities for GinxTV. Educational credentials include a BA in Journalism and Social Communications from Universidad Central de Venezuela, along with further studies in sports journalism and media at institutions in London.
