Alan Simkins

Alan Simkins has over 25 years of professional experience in the technology industry. Alan began their career in 1991 as a Network Administrator for Superior Industries. Alan then moved on to become a Systems Engineer for Perot Systems in 1994. In 1995, they took on the role of Director of Systems Engineering for Online System Services. After that, they became the Chief Technology Officer for TravelHero.com in 1998. In 2009, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer for MyMobileTravel. Alan then worked as a Partner/Developer for Event Lodging Solutions in 2011. Simkins also worked as an Architect/Developer for an Independent Technology Consultant in 2014. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Senior Devops Engineer for Gingerbread Shed Corporation. Most recently, they held the role of Senior Cloud Engineer for RTA Fleet Management Software.

Alan Simkins obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1991, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1993. Alan also holds certifications from Amazon Web Services as an AWS Certified Developer - Associate and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, as well as an expired Microsoft Certified System Engineer certification.
