Patryk Matuszewski

Patryk Matuszewski has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2018, they worked as the Head of Financial Systems at RTB House, where they focused on finance and process automation. Patryk was responsible for designing and developing internal CRM, AP, and AR systems for multiple markets. Patryk successfully implemented an invoicing system in 80% of all business units. Prior to their role at RTB House, Patryk worked as a PHD Candidate at Warsaw School of Economics, examining the effectiveness of fiscal strategies on companies' innovation. Patryk also served as a lecturer in the area of taxes for mid and small companies. In 2017, Patryk worked as a C# Developer at AIT Sp. z o.o., where they were responsible for software development, maintenance, and sales, with a focus on tax automation. Previously, they worked as a Senior Consultant at PwC, supporting clients worldwide in accounting process automation, including tax, financial consolidation, and accounting software roll-outs. Patryk has also held various roles in organizations such as NetClub Association, Real Estate and Investments Students Association, and PwC Polska. Patryk has a strong background in financial systems, taxation, and software development.

Patryk Matuszewski began their education by earning a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from SGH Warsaw School of Economics in 2014. Patryk then pursued a Master's degree in Finance and accounting - corporate finance from the same institution, graduating in 2016. Continuing their academic journey, Patryk is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Finance and economics at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, which is expected to be completed by 2022.
