Catherine Tonero is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in covering European and international news. Currently serving as a Foreign Desk Journalist at RTBF since 2019, Catherine specializes in multimedia news coverage across TV, radio, and digital platforms. Previously, Catherine co-hosted RTBF's La Première radio and La Trois TV programme "CQFD," engaging in daily debates on controversial issues. From 2009 to 2017, Catherine worked as a news and current affairs reporter, delivering in-depth field reporting on various topics, and also served as a radio presenter for RTBF’s VivaCité, providing morning news bulletins and interviews. Catherine's earlier experience includes internships at BBC News and paydesk, enhancing skills in news production and international reporting. Catherine holds a Postgraduate Master in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs and a Master's degree in Political Sciences - International Relations from Université catholique de Louvain.
