Etienne BASTIN

Etienne Bastin is the head of the video and studio division at RTBF, responsible for overseeing TV studios and video technology. Known as a specialist in image capture technology, Etienne has extensive experience in the operational maintenance of broadcast television equipment and has facilitated the transition from linear to file-based technologies. They have been involved in implementing augmented reality capture technologies and have collaborated with the "RTBF Academy" to advance video education within the organization. Earlier in their career, Etienne held various roles in service and maintenance across multiple companies, including as an associate manager at Franchimont Télévision and in technical instruction at the Communauté Française de Belgique. Etienne earned degrees in industrial engineering from HELMo Gramme and the Institut Z Gramme.
