Joffrey Monnier has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of media and communications. Joffrey has worked as the Head of Documentaries at RTBF since 2020, where they oversee the production of exclusive content for the FVOD platform Auvio and three linear channels. Prior to this, they worked for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) from 2013 to 2020, holding roles such as Creative Content Team Leader and Digital Production Coordinator. In these positions, they were responsible for coordinating a team of creative professionals and producing various types of content, including social media videos, news b-roll, photo reportages, and graphic design. Joffrey also gained field experience through their work with MSF, which involved filming in high-risk zones, interviewing Ebola survivors, and covering medical operations in different countries. Before joining MSF, Joffrey worked as a Filmmaker for Gsara ASBL and a TV Journalist for ARTE. Joffrey also took on freelance projects as an Independent Filmmaker, working with various clients. Additionally, they have worked as a Videojournalist for ICF Mostra, a Photojournalist for Première Urgence Internationale, a Video Reporter for France Télévisions, and a Filmmaker for Manivelle Productions. Joffrey started their career as a Web Journalist for Belgacom SA, where they focused on editorial content and web TV development.
Joffrey Monnier has a diverse education history that reflects their passion for storytelling and journalism. In 1999, they began their academic journey at Université libre de Bruxelles, where they pursued a Master's degree in Journalism. After completing their undergraduate studies, they further expanded their knowledge by participating in the Erasmus Programm at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 2004. During this time, they focused on Journalism as their field of study.
