John Smith

John Smith is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in retail and industrial design. As the Senior Design Director at RTC since December 1997, John manages large-scale retail design programs, providing solutions that align with brand positioning and the practical needs of modern retail environments. Prior to this role, John worked as a Senior Industrial Designer at Schutz International from June 1995 to December 1997, where assessment of design needs and the development of solutions for major clients such as Aveda, 3M, and Sony were key responsibilities. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned between 1984 and 1988, and graduated from Fenwick High School in 1984.
