Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson serves as the Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer at Rubicon Technical Services since June 2020, following a tenure with the US Navy where Michael held positions as Chief Reactor Watch and Nuclear Machinist Mate from February 2014 to February 2020. As a qualified Nuclear Machinist Mate, Michael gained experience on an A4W Nuclear power plant aboard the USS Nimitz. Currently enrolled in the Penn State Smeal MBA Program, Michael is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from August 2024, and previously earned a degree in Nuclear Energy Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University, completing studies in June 2021.
