Simon Stanev

Simon Stanev is an experienced RF Design Engineer currently employed at RTX A/S since February 2018, specializing in antenna design for small devices, schematic and PCB layout designs, debugging, verification, reporting, and type approval preparation. Prior to this role, Simon worked as an RF Engineer at Wispry from April 2016 to June 2017, focusing on R&D in tunable RF circuits with MEMS and utilizing tools such as ADS, Altium Designer, and HFSS. Earlier experience includes a trainee researcher position at Aalborg University, where Simon was involved in antenna design for mobile communications and R&D in decoupling techniques for LTE. Simon also completed a brief internship in network optimization at Mobiltel in 2012, which included monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of network nodes. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Wireless Communication Systems from Aalborg University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Communication Technologies from the Technical University Gabrovo.
