Abebual Demilew

Abebual Demilew is currently an AI Lead and Principal Engineer at Pratt & Whitney, where they focus on root cause investigations, safety risk assessments, and predictive maintenance models within the aerospace sector. Prior to this, they led the Research and Evaluation Unit for East Africa at BRAC International, managing complex projects and implementing over 20 Randomized Controlled Trials. Abebual has also held roles in health economics and decision science, contributing to projects across public policy and healthcare domains. They are furthering their education in Artificial Intelligence at Penn State University and pursuing an Executive AI in Business at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
