Brian Fisher

Brian Fisher is a highly skilled technical professional with extensive experience in additive manufacturing and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Technical Fellow and Senior Principal Engineer at RTX, Brian has held various roles since 2018, demonstrating expertise in advanced manufacturing processes. Prior to this, Brian was a Doctoral Candidate at Carnegie Mellon University, where research focused on thermal modeling and the characterization of metal additive manufacturing. Additional experience includes a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, contributions to BioProcess Algae as a Design Engineer, and co-founding DiaVibe Inc. as CTO. Brian also gained early experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Brian holds a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University.
