Carly Norton

Carly Norton has extensive experience in engineering and project management, beginning with a role at CarEm Construction from September 2004 to August 2013 as a Project Manager and General Laborer, where responsibilities included estimating projects, developing blueprints, and ensuring timely completion. Following this, Carly worked at UTC Aerospace Systems from July 2013 to July 2015 as a Mechanical Engineer, managing a multi-functional team and designing components for the Global 7000 flight control system. Carly later served as a Research Assistant at Northern Illinois University, contributing to a project for General Motors, and continued to advance professionally at Raytheon Technologies, first as a Senior Mechanical Engineer starting in February 2018 and then as a Principal Mechanical Engineer from February 2023 onwards. Carly also gained experience as an intern at UTC Aerospace Systems in 2013 and has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University, earned between 2008 and 2013.
