Dan Kaplan

Dan Kaplan is a seasoned engineering and program management professional with extensive experience in aerospace, defense, and automotive industries. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at RTX, Kaplan leads a significant digital transformation initiative focused on civil and military aircraft, integrating advanced technologies such as model-based systems engineering and cloud computing. Prior roles at RTX included Associate Director for Mission Systems, where Kaplan directed program managers in military networking solutions, and Sr. Principal Engineer in military and commercial avionics. Kaplan's foundational experience includes positions at SpaceX, where contributions to the Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon capsule were made, as well as at Eaton and General Motors in electrical engineering roles. Kaplan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
