Gene Johnson

Gene Johnson, CMI, currently serves as the Director of Indirect Tax at Raytheon Technologies, a position held since February 2021. Prior to this role, Gene held various positions at Raytheon from January 2001 to January 2021, including Sr. Manager overseeing sales, use, property, and value-added taxes, as well as Manager roles focused on indirect tax audits and compliance. Gene's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Auditor at the Texas State Comptroller Office from June 1989 to December 2000, conducting sales and use tax audits across multiple industries, and as an Internal Auditor at JCPenney from June 1987 to May 1989. Gene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Grambling State University.
