Michael Beversluis

Michael Beversluis is an accomplished optical physicist specializing in infrared optics and sensors, focal plane arrays, and laser systems. They earned a Ph.D. in Optics from the University of Rochester, where they were a Graduate Research Fellow, and began their career as an Associated Western Universities Post-Baccalaureate Fellow at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Michael has held significant roles in various organizations, including Principal Systems Engineer at Raytheon Missile Systems and National Research Council Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at NIST, where they developed advanced microscopy technologies. Currently, Michael serves as a Technical Fellow at RTX, continuing to contribute to the field of optical engineering.
