Michael Dire

Michael DiRe possesses extensive experience in mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer II at Raytheon Technologies since March 2013, with prior roles as a Senior Mechanical Engineer I and Mechanical Engineer II. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut from September 2010 to March 2013, where responsibilities included managing multiple projects, studying advanced fiber composites, and serving as a Thermodynamics Teaching Assistant. Michael also contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, developing expertise in material analysis and experimentation. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Reliability Engineering Intern at Evergreen Solar. Michael holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
