Ryan Deacon

Ryan Deacon is a highly experienced professional in materials science and engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager of High Temperature Materials at Raytheon Technologies since April 2020. Concurrently, Ryan holds a position as Adjunct Faculty at the UConn School of Engineering and has been the Editor in Chief for Metallography, Microstructure and Analysis at ASM International / Springer since January 2011. Prior to these roles, Ryan worked as a Staff Scientist at United Technologies Research Center and Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and as a Materials Engineering Consultant at DuPont. Academic achievements include a PhD and MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University.
