Scott Mervis is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering and management. Early in his career, Scott served as a General Contractor from June 1995 to December 2000, overseeing home repairs and remodeling projects. Subsequently, Scott held various engineering and management roles at Caterpillar Inc., including Senior Design Engineer and Global Purchasing Manager for multiple divisions, where responsibilities included managing procurement strategies and enhancing manufacturing processes. Since December 2020, Scott has been the Founder and CEO of The Top Hopper LLC, where a patented vertical jump measuring device has been developed for fitness professionals. In September 2024, Scott began a new role as Commodity Manager at RTX. Scott holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Mechanical Engineering from Illinois Central College.
