Stuart Farrell

Stuart Farrell is a Principal Detector Engineer at Raytheon Technologies since June 2016, bringing extensive experience in materials and solar cell research. Prior to this role, Stuart served as a Scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory from February 2013 to October 2015, focusing on the growth and doping of CdTe by MBE for solar cell applications, including fabrication and testing. Earlier positions include Postdoctoral work at Arizona State University from July 2011 to February 2013, where Stuart specialized in II-VI MBE growth and characterization, and Graduate Research Assistant at ARL from 2005 to 2011. Stuart holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from George Mason University, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Math, and Philosophy from the University of Lynchburg.
