Tom Wissel

Tom Wissel is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at RTX, having previously held roles as a Mechanical Engineer II and I, where they contributed significantly to various space programs. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and participated in innovative projects, including an autonomous mop during their capstone. Tom has also gained experience as a Project Director for Concrete Sports at UCLA, where they led a team to design and build award-winning projects. Additional roles included tutoring students in STEM subjects at Study Hut Tutoring and interning at Glacier Design Systems and Vinyl Technology.
