Ulf Jonsson is a highly accomplished professional in mechanical systems, currently serving as a Technical Fellow at RTX since March 2024. Ulf has extensive experience at United Technologies Research Center, where Ulf has been a Research Engineer/Scientist since February 2000. Previously, Ulf held the position of Associate Director, Research at Raytheon Technologies from February 2000 to March 2024. Ulf's early career included a role as a Research Engineer at Luleå University of Technology (1998-2000) and a Visiting Scholar at The Ohio State University (1994-1995), where Ulf developed a method to study ultra high shear rheology in thin films. Ulf holds a Master's degree in Systems Architecture and Engineering from the University of Southern California (2003-2007), as well as a PhD (1998) and a Master's degree (1992) in Mechanical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology.
