Umair bin Asim

Umair Bin Asim is a Senior Engineer at RTX since April 2022, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles, including Postdoctoral Researcher at Texas A&M University from September 2019 to March 2022, and Lecturer at NED University of Engineering & Technology in Karachi from July 2011 to September 2015. Umair began a career as a Trainee Engineer at Star Air Aviation (Pvt.) Ltd. from December 2009 to June 2011. Educationally, Umair holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen (2015-2019), a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechanical Design from NED University of Engineering and Technology (2010-2012), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Design from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST, 2005-2009).
