Wayne Young

Wayne Young is a Cybersecurity Specialist at the U.S. Department of Defense, specializing in digital threat detection, risk mitigation, and incident response. With over a decade of law enforcement experience, including roles as a Detective in the Special Victims Unit and Gang Unit at the Newport News Police Department, Wayne has developed a keen understanding of investigative strategies and adversarial behavior. They hold a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Southern New Hampshire University and possess certifications as a General Instructor and Defensive Tactics Instructor, enhancing their ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts effectively.
