Wei Zhang is an experienced engineer with a robust background in materials science and engineering. Currently holding the position of Principal Engineer at Raytheon Technologies since March 2021, Zhang has previously worked as a Staff Engineer and in various roles including Sr Eng/Sci, Research Engineer, and Process Engineer at UTC Aerospace Systems from January 2013 to March 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at CVD Equipment Corporation and as a Research Assistant at both Stony Brook University and Dalian University of Technology. Wei Zhang earned a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stony Brook University, completing studies in May 2008 and May 2006, respectively.
