Zach Ayers

Zach Ayers is a Senior Research Engineer at the RTX Technology Research Center, where they conduct program planning and test operations on combustor test programs for high-speed propulsion. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on experimental air-breathing and rocket combustor physics, they are a NASA NSTGRO Fellow with an expected graduation date of December 2022. Zach's previous experience includes roles as a Production Support Co-Op Engineer and New Product Development Co-Op Engineer at Eaton Aerospace and research positions at Zucrow Laboratories at Purdue University and the University of Alabama.
