Sofian Younes

Sofian Younes is an experienced Radar System Engineer currently employed at RUAG since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sofian worked at Thales as an Ingénieur hyperfrequences / radar from October 2016 to January 2023 and at Parrot as an Ingénieur conception simulation RF antennes for Drones between December 2015 and October 2016, focusing on RF antenna design and integration for drones. Additional experience includes a position at Orange as an Ingénieur R&D developing simulation tools for relay antennas from January 2014 to November 2015, and an internship at Cobham Aerospace Communications in high-frequency design from August 2012 to July 2013. Early academic contributions involved numerical modeling of plasma at Polytechnique in 2011. Sofian holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Aerospace communications from Télécom Paris and a Master's degree in Physics, along with a Bachelor's degree in fundamental physics, both from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI).
