Simon Defoort

Simon Defoort is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in brand design, interior design, and user interface design. Since 2022, Simon has served as a Senior Brand Design Strategist at Volkswagen, focusing on holistic brand design strategies and the establishment of strong design principles. Simon also holds the position of Senior Interior Designer at Volkswagen AG since 2010, leading the design of production car interiors and concept car developments. Additionally, Simon is an Education Mentor and Project Coordinator at Rubika and Co-Founder and Creative Director of LeCycle, a creative club fostering mentorship and collaboration among industry experts and emerging talent. Simon earned a Master's degree in Design Management with a specialization in Transportation Design from Rubika.
