Amit Malik

Amit Malik is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber security with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Researcher at Rubrik Zero Labs since September 2025, Amit focuses on threat intelligence and research. As a co-founder of Cysinfo and the Cyber Security Community since January 2012, Amit has been instrumental in building a core team to support national cyber security initiatives. Previously, Amit held significant roles such as Director of Threat Research at Uptycs, where responsibilities included architecture of threat intelligence systems and leading initiatives at MITRE evaluations. Prior experience includes senior positions at Netskope, FireEye, and McAfee, contributing to the development of advanced threat intelligence frameworks, automated malware analysis systems, and innovative research algorithms. Amit holds a B.Tech degree in Computers from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, completed in 2011.
