Michael Atkinson

Michael Atkinson is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as the Regional Director, Strategics South at Rubrik since November 2025. Prior to this role, Michael was the Director of Sales for the South, TOLA, and Mid-Atlantic regions at Tessell, where the focus was on leveraging innovative Database-as-a-Service technology. Previously, Michael held positions as Regional Sales Manager at Lacework, contributing to cloud security solutions, and Enterprise Account Executive roles at ThoughtSpot and ibi | Information Builders, where achievements included meeting sales quotas across multiple fiscal years in the financial services and analytics sectors. Michael began a career at DISYS and gained foundational experience in corporate business development at Lockheed Martin.
