Nancy Stade

Nancy Stade is an accomplished FDA lawyer and consultant with over 25 years of experience in medical devices and life sciences. They spent 17 years in various leadership roles at the FDA, including the Office of the Chief Counsel and the Center for Devices, where they shaped regulatory policy and led significant legislative initiatives. Currently, Nancy serves as Principal at Stade Consulting Practice, advising clients on a wide range of FDA matters, particularly in the realms of digital health and combination products. They have also held positions as a Partner at Foley Hoag LLP and Sidley Austin LLP, where they provided strategic counsel to medical device and life sciences companies. Nancy holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Columbia College.
