RubyWell

RubyWell is paving a path to financial security for all family caregivers. Over 37 million Americans provide unpaid care to an aging family member or friend—due in part to a crippling caregiver shortage and the prohibitively high cost of long term care. On average, they spend 24 hours/week and over $7K/year out of pocket providing care. The Medicaid and VA payment programs that do exist are highly restrictive, leaving millions of family caregivers with few options beyond leaving their jobs, depleting their own savings, and going into debt. RubyWell is addressing the caregiver shortage and the family caregiver financial crisis by helping family caregivers get trained and paid like pros for the care they provide, infusing much needed certified home health aides into communities across the country. This allows our partner home health agencies to offer existing and new patients the ongoing home health services they need, and provide their family caregivers the compensation they deserve as certified home health aides.
