Ryan Hamilton

Ryan Hamilton is an optical engineer with extensive experience in adaptive optics and optical design. Currently employed at Ruda Optical since May 2023, Ryan has previously contributed to Dr. Michael Hart's Adaptive Optics Lab at the University of Arizona as a Graduate Research Associate and Graduate Research Assistant from August 2018 to June 2023, focusing on modeling telescope data and software-based adaptive optics correction. Additional internships include work with Meta as a Research Scientist Intern, where Ryan provided optical design support for augmented reality displays, and at Ball Aerospace, where Ryan conducted technical evaluations and automated calibration routines. Ryan holds a PhD in Optics/Optical Sciences and a BS in Optical Sciences and Engineering, both from the University of Arizona.
