Ryan McCrary

Ryan McCrary has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ryan started their career in 2007 as an Outdoor Recreation Intern at Peak 7 Adventures. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Print Production Coordinator at the bounce agency, where they managed print projects for clients. In 2009, Ryan founded and served as the Executive Director of GOAT (Great Outdoor Adventure Trips), focusing on fundraising and building a successful team. Ryan later worked as a Freelance Software Developer from 2014 to 2017. Ryan then transitioned to the tech industry, joining MoonClerk as a Software Engineer from 2017 to 2020. Ryan further advanced their career in RudderStack, where they held multiple roles including Customer Success Engineering Lead from 2020 to 2021, Senior Sales Engineer from 2021 to 2022, and Lead Sales Engineer from 2022 to 2023. Prior to their current position, Ryan briefly worked as the Head of Customer Engineering at Pocus in early 2023. As of June 2023, Ryan is working as a Product Manager at RudderStack.

Ryan McCrary completed their primary education at Chapin High School from 1999 to 2003. Ryan then pursued higher education at the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications from 2003 to 2007.
