Soumyadeb Mitra

Soumyadeb Mitra is the founder and CEO of RudderStack. Prior to RudderStack, they were the Sr. Director of Machine Learning at 8x8, where they applied ML/NLP in UCaaS (unified communication as a service). Soumyadeb was also the Co-Founder and CTO of MarianaIQ, a VC-funded B2B martech startup, which was acquired by 8x8 in 2018. Prior to that, they were the Principal Engineer/Architect at Data Domain from 2008 to 2011. Soumyadeb has a PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and they were also the Co-Founder and CTO of KritiKal Solutions from 2002 to 2003.

Soumyadeb Mitra received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to that, they completed a dual degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
